SPEAKERS JOLENE BROWN AND MICHELE PAYN-KNOPER PARTNER
ON NEW MOTIVATIONAL PROGRAM FOR AGRICULTURISTS
LEBANON, Ind. and WEST BRANCH, Iowa – (February 9, 2009) – Two motivational speakers, with a shared mission for building collaborative partnerships in agriculture, have joined forces to design a new day-long program. “Pyramids, Pigs and Passports” helps agriculturists prosper in changing times.
Jolene Brown and Michele Payn-Knoper developed the unique package of keynotes and workshops to help participants see possibilities in a turbulent economy, form critical relationships and find valuable lessons from unlikely sources.
“The legacy of the land and our farming heritage are at stake as we prepare to transition billions of dollars of agricultural assets in the next three to eight years,” notes Brown. “’Pyramids, Pigs and Passports’ will help agriculturists deal with these uncertain times. We’ll have participants traveling around the world, and returning to their kitchen tables – or conference rooms – with new take-home tools and valuable insights.”
Adds Payn-Knoper, “Increasing economic pressure and regulations have led to more stress on the farm. Our thought-provoking program helps participants learn, lead and profit.”
Brown’s opening keynote, “When Pigs Fly!,” and workshop, “When Family Business Becomes Your Baggage,” focus on possibilities and personalities. Payn-Knoper adds an interactive workshop, “What Language Are You Speaking?,” and closing keynote, “Can Your Passion Build Pyramids?”
The duo is backed by a combined 35 years of experience motivating farm and agribusiness audiences. Brown, of West Branch, Iowa, is a Certified Speaking Professional who uses humor and realistic solutions to nurture the people that feed the world. She specializes in leadership and family business dynamics. Payn-Knoper, principal of Cause Matters Corp. in Lebanon, Ind., builds stronger connections between the farm gate and consumer plate. She provides advocacy tools through training programs, a blog and webinars that help address media misinformation and consumer pressures.
